Mindfulness
This is a structured, 6 week course specifically designed for young people aged 11-18 that want to learn new techniques to help them feel less anxious, stressed or overwhelmed.
Mindfulness is a simple and easy way to distract ourselves from our everyday worries. During this course of interactive sessions, our Wellbeing Coaches will explore a range of different mindfulness techniques and consider how these can be used to help maintain good wellbeing. Participants will:
- Learn and try out a range of new mindfulness techniques
- Understand how mindfulness can positively impact wellbeing
- Understand how common mental health problems such as stress and anxiety can impact our lives
- Learn abut the importance of self care
