Walking group
We know that getting outdoors in nature and enjoying a gentle walk can be beneficial for our physical and mental health; our local walking groups give people the chance to get some fresh air, meet new people and receive wellbeing support and advice from our Wellbeing Coaches. This year, we are excited to join the Marcus Movers programme and honour the incredible achievements of Marcus Skeet.
Marcus Movers
Join our new Marcus Movers walking group taking place each week around the beautiful site of Mote Park in Maidstone taking in the grassland, woodland and 30 acre lake.
Each week, our experienced Wellbeing Coaches will lead a one hour walk giving you the opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the fresh air and use The Five Ways to Wellbeing to improve your mental health. The route will remain on hard surface paths throughout ensuring accessibility for all.
This is a 12 week programme starting on Monday 13th April and ending on 13th July. Sessions will run from 3pm to 4pm. Please note that sessions will not take place on bank holidays.
