Menopause Mind and Movement

Are you a mid-life woman struggling with the impact of perimenopause or menopause?

Join our 3 week course which is designed to offer mental health support and movement sessions that can help you through this challenging time of life.

We know that for many women, menopause can be a challenging time; as well as the physical symptoms, it can also impact your mental health. This course is designed to give you tools and techniques that can help you manage some of the most commonly reported symptoms such as stress and anxiety. Our team will provide a safe and supportive space for you to meet new people and connect and share experiences. Each week you will also be introduced to a series of gentle movements that can help lift your mood and improve your overall wellbeing.

What will the sessions involve?

Each session will include an opportunity for you to share your experiences and connect with other members of the group. Our Wellbeing Coach will guide the discussion around specific topics and these will include the links between hormone changes and mental health, the impact of stress and what healthy coping strategies can be used to manage this, breathing and grounding techniques.

In the second half of the session, our Level 3 qualified instructor you will also be guided through some gentle exercise movements designed to improve wellbeing. This will involve some standing exercises and some floor based work. If you have any concerns about this, we can discuss it with you at the point of booking.

What should I wear?

We recommend you come in comfortable clothes so that you are able to take part in the exercises.
