18-25 social groups

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are excited to have launched new social groups for young people aged 18-25 living across Maidstone, Ashford and Swale.

These new groups will meet informally four times a year and all activity costs will be fully covered. The sessions are a great way to meet new people, make friendships, try new things and reduce social isolation and anxiety. All the activities will be chosen by the group with an initial planning meeting to gather people’s ideas. Suggestions we have received so far include bowling, cinema trips and rock climbing.

Our Wellbeing Coach will be on hand to facilitate all of the sessions and provide any additional mental health signposting and support that is required.

Our next scheduled activities are:

Swale – 30th September Quiz and Pizza Night at The Light Sittingbourne

Pizza – 6:30pm to 7:45pm

Quiz – 8pm to 9pm

Ashford – 24th September Escape Room Part 2 and Kaspas

Please note The Candyland Escape Room element is only available for those who took part in the last escape room experience, however, everyone is welcome to join us for pudding at Kaspas afterwards – 7pm to 8pm.

Robots Return is a table top escape game experience – 6:15pm to 7:15pm
