Youth Forum

We want to ensure that our services are shaped by individuals with lived experience. We listen to feedback from all of our service users and work hard to understand the unique needs of our local communities. As part of this commitment, we have put together our Youth Forum bringing together young people from across the region who have first or second hand experience of mental health problems. Some of these individuals have used our services themselves; others have joined us as volunteers to assist at our holiday workshops or other activities. Regardless of their background, they are each passionate about mental health and are keen to be ambassadors in their own communities.

From time to time, we are also joined by professionals from local services so that our young people’s voices can have a further reach into the local community.

The group meet three times a year to discuss current trends and experiences, contribute their ideas and also give feedback on our own plans for the future.

Our Youth Forum is currently full but when we do have vacancies these will be advertised here and on our volunteering page so please check back again soon.
