Everyday Mental Health course

This introductory session provides you with an opportunity to reflect on how current day-to-day challenges might be affecting your own mental health and learn practical skills and knowledge that can help you manage and improve your wellbeing.


Who is this course for?

Everyone! This course gives a great overview of common mental health stressors and will provide you with opportunities to learn easy and practical self care techniques to support yourself and others with their wellbeing.

What will the course cover?

This course explores common stressors, how these can impact us and how we can positively manage our own wellbeing. As part of this course we will also share details of other support services available across Kent and Medway.

Following the session you will be able to:

  • Recognise the impact that negative stressors can have on your mental health.
  • Understand how to support your own mental health and wellbeing.
  • Have the confidence and knowledge to support someone else who may be struggling with poor mental health.
  • Know what other support services are available locally.

How long does it last?

The course lasts 1 hour and includes videos, activities and group discussions.

How much does it cost?

This course is free for anyone who lives or works in Kent and Medway thanks to funding from KCC and Medway Council.

How is the course delivered?

The session is delivered online using Zoom.
