Work and Wellbeing

Work and Wellbeing is designed for young people who may be worried about their future and involves planning for their education, employment or training. It is aimed at supporting young people to feel better equipped to take their next steps – focussing on improving their understanding around anxiety, their self-confidence and overall wellbeing.

Over the course of a Work and Wellbeing programme, young people will have the opportunity to:

  • Focus on personal barriers to employment, education or training
  • Develop self-awareness and understanding of anxiety and depression whilst improving self-esteem.
  • Learn how to manage anxieties around interviews or job opportunities
  • Explore how to approach volunteering, training and job searching
  • Look at C.V. writing and Communication
  • Look at how to effectively plan and organise
  • Explore how to build the confidence needed to move forward

As young person can book a space on our Work and Wellbeing programme by completing the booking form found on this webpage. Alternatively, if you have any questions about the Work and Wellbeing programme, then you can e-mail bookings@midkentmind.org.uk.
